When you work well, email can be great. It’s hard to get an e-mail for everything, from staying in touch with the family to get information from companies or other organizations. Send one message to more than one person? Communicate with someone on the continent? Transfer photos, manuscripts or other information? For speed and efficiency, this truly synchronized environment is one of the most convenient functions of modern life.

But e-mail is not without problems. If you enter the recipient’s name, but your message continues to bounce, you can not sing the greetings by e-mail. The same applies to attachments that do not open, or to other similar persecutions. With a little patience, you can easily overcome most of the problems with e-mail. Here are 4 common email problems with solutions for overcoming.

Problem – returned messages

This can be the most unpleasant of all problems with e-mail. After spending time writing a message, click the “Send” button and think about the task. But the next thing you know is that the message appears in your mailbox with an address that does not reach the recipient.

Solutions

First, take a simple step to make sure that the recipient’s address is entered correctly. This may seem obvious, but sometimes the only drawback is the missing symbol or the use of “com” instead of “net” or a similar error. If you know the correct address, it’s just to check each letter. Otherwise, you may need to experiment by sending several messages or by entering alternative addresses with small variations. Based on this approach, you can simply track the recovered messages and compare them to the general list of addresses that you used. Sometimes the source of your problem is the recipient. If the messages are addressed to other addresses but failed here, try contacting the recipient in other ways and reporting the situation. Issue 2: You lost the connection

Sometimes the refusal to send or receive email messages can be returned to a lost connection with your ISP.

Solutions

If you see the message “Unable to connect” or “No response” or otherwise decided that you can not connect, go back to make sure that there are no physical problems.

First, check the cables and connections. If you are using a modem for dial-up access, listen to it to play high-level sound. If not, the problem can be a free connection. Locate the phone cord from the back of the computer to the phone jack, and then make sure that each end is connected correctly.

If you do not hear the expected call, check that the telephone cable is not damaged. If it looks worn, replace it with a new one. Other steps include ensuring that the line is connected to the correct port and testing the phone jack by connecting the cable to a different port. If you hear a voice request after any of these steps, you have made a successful connection.
